Ali Issa in a relaxed moment, reflecting the personal and conversational spirit behind Media & Reflections—short stories and reflections on faith, people, places, and the moments that stay with us.

Media

Some reflections are written. Others are meant to be spoken.

The written word gives us time to linger. The spoken word allows an idea to meet us in a different way—in a voice, a place, a story, or a moment.

These short reflections explore faith, character, people, and place through the ordinary things that often carry deeper meaning: a compass, a pencil and an eraser, an olive tree, a journey, a conversation, a piece of home.

Whether through Qur’anic reflections or stories from Palestine, Jordan, Syria, and beyond, the hope is the same: to notice what we might otherwise pass by, and perhaps see something familiar a little differently.

Because sometimes a minute is enough to leave us with a question worth carrying.

The Destination Is the Heart

Qur’anic Reflections

The Qur’an does more than tell us what to believe. It shapes how we see, how we respond, and who we become. These short reflections look beyond the rituals themselves to the inner life they are meant to form, because the destination is the heart.

Stories of Place, Memory and Meaning

Palestine is more than a place on a map. It lives in its olive trees, its food, its traditions, its stories, and the memories carried from one generation to the next. These short reflections share small pieces of Palestine and the larger human stories they hold.
